kso: then you can probably explain to me why nobody objected to this (and you
were there, too[1]) to this issue for 2.3.1 in the RSM on Monday?
Anyway, I think that a common build option (the internal curl is 7.12.2(!)) used
breaking with the current release of curl deserves to be fixed in 2.3.1,
especially since the fix is trivial.
