I have got a reproducible report for this bug now.

1. download http://www.solar07.org/ANZSESPaperTemplate07%20DOC.zip and open the
enclosed word document.
2. delete that tail of the line that starts with the word 'Abstract'.
3. using the keyboard, position the cursor at the start of the paragraph that
begins 'This abstract in'. Using the keyboard, move the cursor to the end of
that paragrah, but don't include the trailing newline.
4. press 'delete'.
5. press Alt-E to via the edit menu

The edit menu contains very long text fragment.

As far as I can determine this is *not* a duplicate of the but that was
mentioned above.

This was with standard .deb version of OpenOffice version 2.2.0 on Ubuntu 7.04

Cheers
JP
