Hi,
AFAIR I did these steps to install OOo2.3 after the download und unzipping the
tar.gz-file:
- deinstall old OOo-versions (e.g via Synaptic)
- open a terminal
- go into the directory created by unzipping the tar.gz-file (AFAIR "DEB")
(e.g. by entering "cd DEB")
- type in the following command:
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
and enter the needed pass word
- to install desktop integration install the *.deb file in the included
sub-directory ( "desktop-integration"?? )
sudo dpkg -i ./desktop-integration/*.deb
That's all... :)
I'm not really sure about the directory-names... They may be different...
No defect, just the normal behaviour...
I suggest to close this issue... :)
