------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 2 00:03:39 +0000 2007 ------- When starting ooffice on a document specified on the command line, occasionally the fvwm window manager switches mouse-tracking to a very sampling rate and does not respond to any click anywhere on the screen. The "fix" is to reboot. This seems like the problem that the ooffice readme warns of: "often caused by the graphics card driver". My sysadmin says: >You have a reasonably up to date kernel and Xorg driver for >your ATI Radeon VE/7000 QY video driver. >The RPM name is xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.6.3-1 -- see >/var/log/Xorg.0.log for all the details. The OS is: Linux version 2.6.22.7-57.fc6 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.1.2 20070626 (Red Hat 4.1.2-13)) #1 SMP Fri Sep 21 20:23:24 EDT 2007 It seems the trouble may happen when I dismiss the pop-up style palette at the same time the document is appearing on the screen--but this is grasping at straws. Does the finger seem to point at the driver? If so are there any confirming tests I might try, such as trying some non-ooffice application known to be similarly sensitive? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
