Just tried again and it worked. Guess the reboot fixed it?
I'll try to add as much info here just in case it surfaces again. I'm using
Vista Ultimate 32bit and have the free Microsoft Word 2003 viewer installed. I
had viewed the DOC file in question with the MS viewer, but it wasn't open at
the time that I attempted to open it in OOo. I'm 100% sure it didn't open a new
window for the 2nd document. And I tried a couple times to open it. Currently
my default for DOC files is the Word Viewer, so I used "open with" and selected
OOo. One other detail...I think I had just installed the viewer. I may not
have rebooted yet if the installer didn't require it (don't think it did, but
?).
