Further info: Somebody in the mailing list said that he can open my rtftest.odt document and save it as .rtf without problem with Oo1.9.79 under Windows (note: my problem occurs under linux). But my rtftest.rtf opens wrong for him. So: - it does not occur under windows - it does not occur under Fedora Core 3 with LANG=de_DE - it does happen under FC3 with LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 (the default) on my computer I don't know if anybody else has tried the same language setting. Or different languages. Is it a problem that Oo doesn't like UTF? Or is the problem specific to my computer? I'm willing to try anything, but I have no idea what setting could be responsible here. I'm certainly not aware that I have made any changes to my system that could be responsible, it seems quite standard FC3.
