------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 4 19:46:26 +0000 2007 ------- I believe, "e.g." without space is not correct for OpenOffice.org or other modern word processors, not only for DTP and typesetting systems. Abbrevation of exempli gratia is "eg", "eg." or "e. g." (in printing need a non-breaking space or a narrower spacium). Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary of current English (1989, printed version) contains only the "eg" form. But for Mozilla, and text editors it is a relevant item. Unfortunatelly, Mozilla has a new issue about the license problems of the LGPLed MySpell en_US.dic in its distribution: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397150.
