------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 16 18:49:15 +0000 2007 ------- Assume you store an attachment from a mail somewhere, it then usually has -r--r--r-- Of course you forgot to change this when opening the file with OO, so the file is write-protected. When you change the settings to something like -rw-rw-r-- and reload the document, the new file settings are not recognized, so it is still read-only.
