Yes, so what?
What bugs you is a sophisticated feature!
You select a font which isn't capable of displaying russian text. Now OO.o
performs a fall back to a different font which displays nice cyrillic glyphs
instead of displaying nothing or illegal/escape characters. Again the problem is
the font you selected which doesn't provide cyrillic glyphs.
