------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Oct 26 12:22:39 +0000 2007 ------- Frequently CTL users have a problem choosing a font when writing in their langauge. When looking at the font drop-down list, there is no way of knowing whether a given font supports the CTL language. I've written a patch for the font drop-down list, so that each line displays not only the font name, but also a sample of CTL text, if the font supports the default CTL langauge. For example, instead of 'Arial', it will display 'Arial — אבג' (the first three letters of the Hebrew alphabet). If the font does not support the default CTL language, but does support the default Western language, it adds a sample of the Western Langauge. For example, instead of 'Arial', it will display 'Arial — ABC'. If the font supports neither the default Western, not the default CTL language, no sample is added to the name of the font. I mentioned this in Issue 23402 which deals with a related problem, but since the patch does not directly address the issue discussed there, I'm filing it as a separate issue. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
