FYI: I cannot reproduce the problem with OOo 2.0beta - fonts in ~/.fonts are
available in OOo (I don't have a ~/.fonts.conf but ~/.fonts is listed in
/etc/fonts/fonts.conf)
I doubt that this was fixed between m77 and m79 (the beta) and then broke
again.. but I will test with m85 in the next days...
I don't know what you mean with "restart xfs", but here running fc-cache is the
only thing that needs to be run...
Just try fc-list and see whether your font is listed (maybe there are multiple
versions and OOo picks the bad one?)
