The save-export to PDF command works correctly if the initial document format is
in the .odt format. When the document is saved to .doc format (97/2000/XP) and
the command File / Export as PDF is selected with the default options, the
resulting PDF file generates an error in Adobe Acrobat Reader verion 8.0 giving
a message "Cannot find or create the font 'Helvetica'..."

The workaround is to go back to the native .odt file format and reexport to PDF.

As many persons are still working with .doc format files, this seems to be a
major inconvenience.
