I'll attach it to this issue. I've tested the macro and it really works! You can set both pixel resolution and 'logical' resolution. Why isn't this functionality exposed in the user-interface ?????????????? This is a crucial feature for any vector-drawing application. This proves that no major internal reworking of the graphics system is required to make this work. There's no excuse now ... The BMP export filter has GUI-elements for setting the resolution but these are broken. The other raster formats (PNG/JPEG/TIFF etc.) have no such options.
