I have the same issue. Mac OS X 10.4.10, 1.25 GHz G4, 1.25 GB RAM. I upgraded
from oo v.2.2. Problem persists in v.2.3 (X11) as well. The only difference I
have with the report from tao240 is that the table wizard freezes openoffice
EVERY time I try to use it. I have to force quit oo, then log out of my user
account and back in before I can reopen oo.
