Right Eric, it is the lock. Since the window was labelled "Document Recovery"
I wasn't aware of it's
purpose.
I have also since seen the progress bar. I don't right now have a reliable way
of crashing OOo. So I can't
add any more criticism to how the locking is handled at crash time.
