If you deactivate this ActiveX the behaviour is as described by the reporter. His statement isn't right. ActiveX is only to show OOo-documents within IE. This feature is nice but in my opinion nonsense. I can also download these documents and open them with OOo. ActiveX should be never activated in the default installation. This Issue must be closed.
