Whenever I try to scan in a document, whether it is a picture, text document, or
a combination of pictures and text, OpenOffice Writer crashes and the File
Recovery windows comes up and attempts to save my document. It then attempts to
start the File Recovery the next time that I start-up Writer. I am able to scan
the same type of documents in other programs without the programs crashing, such
as PrintMaster Silver v17.

I would appreciate any help and assistance to resolve this matter. I'll be glad
to provide any additional information, that may be need.

System Stats:
HP Scanjet G3010 Scanner.
Celeron D 2.5 Ghz Processor
256MB RAM
64MB Intel Graphics Chipset
