The icons are similar to the desktop environment. However in Windows, icons of the GUI are not really similar to the OS itself. I suggest using sort of "XP" icons for the Windows build. Now there are people who use Vista, and a more modern and eye-candy GUI would make OpenOffice.org more attractive.
