Do you use the version OOo2.3? If yes, than it is a known bug, see issue 81609.
This bug is fixed in version OOo2.3.1rc1:
http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html
Please try that version.
If your error is different from that, you can reopen the issue. In this case
specify your OOo version (1.0 is very unlikely), your operating system and give
a step by step description.
