I think it should be more clear for the enduser if he had the possibility to
choice to propagate or not trusted file location to subdirectories. A simple
check box in front of each trusted file location could do the job.
Consider the following case : I have a trusted file location dirA in which I
defined a symbolic link to /home/mylogin (I know it's not a very good idea). So
if I open a document containing a macro in whatever directory in my home, there
is no confirmation dialog while there is one if I open the document using
another path.
I think that a checkbox can make the enduser more attentive to his security 
choices.
