Unable to confirm using 1.9.84..
By right clicking in Explorer and choosing 'New>>', I created a new OpenDocument
Text file at C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application
Data\OpenOffice.org1.9.84. I was able to open the file, save changes to it, and
reopen it.
