ok!
I reinstall OO 2.0B and check it again...
The problem was an old document which was created OO 1.0 and when change date field format It changed but when read it again on disk there was ugly american... ;-)
New document works fine (with ISO date formats... :-) )

Unable to confirm using 1.9.84. Following jlu's instructions (Thu Mar 10
03:23:38), the date format remained correct when I reopened the file.
If you want me to, I can look up my locales and such, but its pretty much standard Windows 2000 SP4 out the box. Beautiful American formats and all :)
