2007 -------
I recently upgraded to version Open Office 2.3 Afterwards, I started having
problems with printing my spreadsheet which I use for invoices. I have 254
tabs, each tab is an invoice. I have 19095 cells within the 254 tabs. When I
select a page to print (I only print the current invoice which is never more
than one page) there is hesitation in printing that was not present before
upgrading to Open Office 2.3. More times than not, the page does not print. I
have resorted to starting a new spreadsheet to continue my invoices for the
rest of the year. My question is: should the spreadsheet be able to print the
current page even if I have 254 tabs or have I crossed some tab limit? I had
not noticed any problem before upgrading and it seems as if the calc program is
stalling on the print job. After I created a new spreadsheet (no old data
imported) I have no problems printing invoices from this new spreadsheet. I do
not know if this is any help but could it be that in 2.3 calc is trying to
process all the tabs and not just the current one I designated to be printed?
Thanks for any assistance. If I am over some limit it just coincidentially
happened when I upgraded. Otherwise, I thought this might be some bug in the
print routine. Thanks for any assistance.
