------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Dec 6 20:26:23 +0000 2007 ------- I experience this behavior on a different platform and OS. This relates to _floating_ toolbars only, as I understand it, and in my experience. Also, I believe the issue with application non-responsiveness is only a result of the toolbar movement not terminating properly. I.e. once the movement is fixed, then the app responsiveness is a non-issue. I agree w/ cd: this is not a duplicate i78975. Additional testing reveals: - Reported Issue behavior only occurs when attempting to move the floating toolbar with RightMouseButton (RMB) on the toolbar's mini "titlebar". - Reported Issue behavior only occurs when using the RMB *over* any OO.o window. As soon as the mouse is outside of any OO.o windows, the movement works as expected. *Within* the same "drag" of the toolbar, the behavior will change depending on whether the mouse is over OO.o window or not. See attached image showing the areas. - Reported Issue does *not* occur when using X's <alt+RMB> built-in window movement on the floating toolbar, no matter what window/area the mouse is over. Testing system is the following, OOo: 2.3.0 (openoffice.org-core 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5) Platform: PC, Pentium M OS: Linux somemachine 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux Window Mgr: Gnome + Compiz --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
