This has happened a number of times since we started having a problem with our fileshare server. When the fileshare goes down and I don't notice (3 times in the last week) it takes approximately 8 minutes to timeout me saving to the fileshare. Calc waits about 2-3 minutes and errors out then I hit "OK" then the same thing 2 more times. Finally the 3rd time I hit "OK" it will let me save to a different location. Is there a way to have it timeout at about 20 seconds? If it doesn't save by then it's not going to save, right?
