BTW: The profile always survives. The normal user needs one user profile in $SYSUSERCONFIG. For testers, power user and developer we have the well known way to edit the bootstrap file. So I would assume that it is a use case to have GUI to define where the user profile should be placed but not to have multiple profiles in such a tool.
