------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Dec 14 10:11:28 +0000 2007 ------- Writer crashes on attempting to load the attached file. No error message is given; the recovery process starts on next invoking Writer but the application again crashes immediately the recovery is complete without the document ever appearing. About gives the version as 2.3.1-2 Thu Dec 13. Operating system is Sidux 2007-04 (based on Debian Sid). A Word document emailed to me today causes the same behaviour if I try to open it - I also attach the Word document. Other documents do not cause the issue (though of course I have only tried a sample of the documents I have! It is *possible* that there may be a link to the en-GB hyphenation dictionary, which I installed yesterday some time before this issue arose. However I do not see why this would affect the Word document received today (and therefore never saved or opened in OOo) if it does not equally affect previous OOo documents created here without hyphenation. Invoking OOo from the command line yields no error messages on the crash. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
