I also now downloaded&installed the language tool extension, but I was not able
to see the same problem (tested with OO 2.3 and OO 2.4 dev build 680m238).
Maybe your configuration folder "c:\documents and settings\[user]\Application
Data\OpenOffice.org2" is not compatible anymore after the upgrade (sometimes
older OOo's caused corruption of it). Please delete it and re-install the
extension.
