Maxweber,

I am using Suse 9.2 and XFCE4.3. I have both OO1.9.79
and OO1.1.4 installed, and was able to save the file
to native format in 1.1.4.

The file is company proprietary, but was a simple one
page .xls that actually included NO calculations, just
some text and data.

I will create a small file when I get home (Win at
work) and see if I can come up with more data for you.
