------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 4 01:09:06 +0000 2008 ------- Running the attached presentation causes the X server to consume all of system memory in about 1h on my system (1G Phys + 1G swap). This makes it difficult to use OOo for any kind of long-term repeating display (e.g. kiosk or information video stream). The repetition seems to be the key feature: the faster the presentation repeats, the faster memory is consumed. If the soffice.bin slideshow process is killed, the X server releases the memory.
