------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jan 9 08:12:58 +0000 2008 ------- I would qualify this error a serious one, the 3.0 target is a bit too late. It blocks compatibility with AbiWord for example. In the attached document (why.odt) saved by AbiWord (trunk) an automatic style contains the text:display="true" attribute, thus the text with this style does not show up. THis causes - at least seemingly - a dataloss. See attached screenshot too (why.png). In a real world document, this case of disappearing text occurs in random places along the document, when somebody create a text in AbiWord, and then opens it with OpenOffice.org. Because AbiWord can place text:display="true" anywhere, a data loss could occur in any place, which is very annoying. When there is an open standard, an application should follow it. However if the bug is in the AbiWord imp/exp filter, please excuse me, in that case I will file the bug in their bug system. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
