actually, I think I am incorrect. no matter what data source in whatever format
I choose, *no* CSV format works - only the OpenOffice database.
I expected that under the table column after the "connecting" bit is done there
should appear something, but nothing appears. however, the OK button on the
dialog is not grayed out, so I figure from that that I can select that data
source. so I guess I was misunderstanding the dialog "table" column. I
understand it now.
Beyond that I can't get anything to work. I have tried selecting a regular
database. I have tried an Excel CSV file. I have tried an address list creator
CSV file. I can't get past step 3 unless I use an openoffice database.
sections 2 and 3 of step 3 are *always* grayed out, and section 4 you can't
click in but is not grayed out.
so maybe I should be changing the summary of this bug to "mail merge datasource:
no CSV format works, only database" I am reporting this as a separate bug.
otherwise, I am changing this bug to bogus.
