Hi!

I have to disagree with you. This is what I can do, in order to have a printer
selected:

1. I can work mzself through the wizard, whcih is fine, if I have no clue how
to perform a mail merge but is a bit over the top if I have a redundant task
and I have been doing mail merges for a while.

2. I can chnage the printer in the File>Printer Settings

But what I can NOT DO is choose a different printer if I go via File>Print:

1. Open a serial letter
2. Choose File>Print
3. Choose the dataset and chose to send the mail merge to a printer, not a
file
4. Choose print and the file is printed ASAP, NO selection dialog.

In the 1.1.4 version of OO I have an additional step, that sends me after
making my choice to print under 4. to a printer selection dialog. This is
still true for printing a file with no database fields in both versions. The
idea being, I want to print a file and all the way in the end just when the
file is ready to print, I am allowed to make choice to which printer I would
like to end the print job to. This is not the case if you try to print a file
with databse fields under OO 2.0 when using File>print. From my point of view
this is a defect.
