------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jan 24 10:08:00 +0000 2008 ------- Hi! Thanks for looking into this. I'm attaching two .xls files: * Diagram.xls was made in Excel (Microsoft Excel 2000 version 9.0.6926 SP 3 using Windows XP Profession version 2002 service pack 2). It contains one diagram. (I deleted the data from the tables, it is confidential, but the bug is present whether or not data is present.) * Diagram2.xls is what I get when I open the file to OpenOffice (2.3.1 release for Windows XP), then save as a new file in .xls format, using the option to save as Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP (.xls). The diagram is no longer correctly represented in the new file diagram2.xls. In particular, you can see on the diagram that the series labels for the last two series have disappeared. In addition, when you click (in Excel) on the diagram, right-click "Data sources", and then to the Tab that is called "Series", then scroll all the way down to see the last two series (names/data ranges), the Excel crashes and terminates. (So there must be a bug in Excel, too, it should not just crash.) The bug in OpenOffice probably resides in the "Save as .xls" functionality, because initially the diagram looks correct in OpenOffice, too. You can recreate the file diagram2.xls, it reproduces the bug every time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
