------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 25 21:33:43 +0000 2008 ------- I propose an option to reload an image if it is a link when the slide that contains it is shown. This way you can have a dynamic slide that is updated with the latest information that you want to show. This would be ideal for kiosks and also presentations that need up to the minute data. When the slide is shown, Impress should look for an updated image (if told to do so) whether it is on a hard drive or via an http link. The slide timer should be suspended during this download time. There should also be a timeout function leaving the last retrieved image in place if a new one cannot be found. A small error message could be displayed when a download fails as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
