------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 29 21:07:42 +0000 2008 ------- Install Darklooks from the gnome-themes-extra package via Synaptic. Tooltips in OpenOffice now have a light gray or white text against the standard yellow background, and are unreadable. Attached is an example. This doesn't appear to be a system issue, since all other tooltips are readable (black text against a yellow background). Switching to Clearlooks theme, the tooltips now display correctly in OpenOffice. However, changing the systemwide tooltips font color does not change the OpenOffice tooltips font color. Only the tooltips background can be changed. This leads me to believe that OpenOffice is using a different variable for its local tooltips font color setting other than the global tooltips font color setting. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
