The difference between ヒラギノ明朝 ProN W3 and ヒラギノ明朝 Pro W3 is: supporting JIS X 0213:2004 and concisely presented glyph in JIS (例示自体)[1]. Vista also supports JISX 0213:2004 and 例示自体. [BTW: there are incompatibility between (1) Vista and WindowsXP, (2) Vista and MacOSX Tiger, but no such compatibility issue in (1) Vista and Leopard.
