This morning, after rebooting my laptop, I read the update on this bug and tried
testing the Oracle drivers from Write -- it worked. I then tried to open from
Draw -- it worked. It looks like shutting down my computer with a hard reboot
did something.
At this point, the Test for the loading the classes works. I'm changing the
status of this bug to "works for me" since it now, unexplainably, works.
Anyone having a problem such as I had should also try rebooting the Windows
system and see if that cures the problem (I cannot think why it would, but you
cannot argue with success).
As far as I am concerned, you may close this bug.
