User mba changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ CC|'' |'mba' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Assigned to|spreadsheet |mba -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Component|Spreadsheet |framework -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QA contact|[EMAIL PROTECTED] |[EMAIL PROTECTED] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subcomponent|open-import |code -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Feb 2 11:21:21 +0000 2008 ------- As this is not related to spreadsheets I changed the component. I don't see how that would do anything useful. If the write protection is not supported by the OS the user can open the file, create a copy and save it again to its old place (or copy it there). What is needed is support from the OS or DRM. Doing it on the application level is a pretty ridiculous attempt. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
