------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 3 20:57:59 +0000 2008 ------- I replicated the problem in Unix, Open office version 2.3.0 1. Start open office; 2, Select menu File/New/Text Document; 3, Type colour; You can see the word "colour" is underlined with read wave line. My solution/workaround to this is: 1, Select the word "colour"; 2, Select menu Tools/Spellcheck...; 3, Click button "Add" to pull down a list, within which there is an item "standard[All]", click it; 4, A dialog box with confirmation "The spellcheck is complete." pops up, click Ok to close it. Now the red wave line under the word "colour" disappears. The follow up test is performed as: close open office and restart a new text document with open office again, type word "colour", this time the word will not be underlined with red wave line. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
