------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 19 14:13:50 +0000 2008 ------- brinzing@: I agree with you: I also disabled the "Extended Tips", but there is still a very serious performance issue with menus (NOT related to Java extension menu items - which require to load the extensions jar for the first time the menu is activated-, but also OOo Basic extensions). The performance only comes back to the one in 2.3.1 when I remove *all* the extensions (and not only the Java ones); so the new Extensible Help feature is to blame here.
