If an extension is installed an the user installs this version again then there
are three cases:
The version of the extension being installed is

1.is the same as one which is already installed
2.is older than the one which is already installed
3.is newer than the one which is already installed

The message box uses the extension identifier to name the extension. This is
technically correct and has the advantage that the identifier is unique. However
the user has not relation from this id to extension because the GUI either
displays the file name or if available the display name. Therefore the message
boxes should preferably use the display name. A display name or file name may
not be unique, but the risk of name clashes is relatively low and the user
understands the meaning of the message box.

This will be specified in
specs/www/appwide/packagemanager/extensionversion.odt
