------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 21 01:22:40 +0000 2008 ------- Changing a custom show doesn't always enable the Save menu item (OOImpress doesn't notice that there have been changes made). This can result in losing changes made to a custom show. I can reproduce the problem thusly: 1) Slide Show -> Custom Slide Show -> brings up the dialog of all the custom shows. 2) Edit button -> brings up the custom show with the slides in it 3) At this point, make some changes to the show. I've changed the title, added and deleted slides. (Edit the title so you can see the change on the previous dialog.) 4) Click OK and you're back at the dialog of all the custom shows 5) Here's the issue: Clicking 'close' and clicking the "X" bring about different behaviors. Both should act the same way! 5a) If I click the "X" to close the dialog, then go to the File menu, the Save option is greyed out. Going back into the Slide Show -> Custom Slide Show -> dialog box, however, the title of the show is clearly as I changed it in step 3. Editing the show shows the slide changes I made are still there. 5b) Repeat the steps 1-5 above or from 5a above make some additional edits to the custom show(s). This time, instead of hitting the "X" button click the "Close" button. Now in the File menu, the "Save" option is lit up. This behavior is inconsistent. If the "X" means "Cancel" then the changes just made to the custom show should be reverted (and the Save option should be greyed out because no changes have been made). If the "X" is equivalent to the "Close" button, then the changes should stick and the Save option should be lit up. Further note that after 5a) above, one can close Impress via either File -> Exit or the "X" on the application's main window and the changes made to the custom show are LOST. This has apparently happened to us repeatedly, and it's easy to do. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
