------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 26 23:57:58 +0000 2008 ------- Can't invoke more than 1 doc at a time from openoffice icon from my SuSe Desktop. ========================================================================== When I try to invoke more than 1 file ( doc or ppt) presentation (irrespective of the size of the file), via the openoffice icon I get the following error message. " /user/subra/slot:5500 does not exist " However after opening the first document I can open the 2nd doc from the open menu of the first document. Relevent Information: Linux 2.6.22.17-0.1-default #1 SMP 2008/02/10 20:01:04 UTC x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux (SuSe) OOo: 2.3.1 My system have 1GB of RAM Steps to reproduce the problem: =============================== Close all existing openoffice products. Invoke openoffice from icon Open a doc -- opens the doc without any problems Invoke openoffice from icon again to open a second document. I see the slot 5500 error. Workaround: =========== >From the first doc/ppt use the open menu to launch the second doc or ppt. No problems. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
