------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 1 19:06:37 +0000 2008 ------- When opening almost every (but not all) .ott, .ods, .doc files OpenOffice crashes with the message "Due to an unexpected error, OpenOffice.org crashed. ..." Next time it proposes to recover, and crashes again. This seems somehow the same as issue #84566. -- On my Debian 2.6.24 I have completely purged OOO, and re-installed from repository the 2.4.0~rc2-1. My dictionaries are EN-GB, EN-US, IT. Tried to open the attached file, it opens normally. Tried the second time, OOO crashes. Deleting ~/.openoffice.org2/user/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Linguistic.xcu makes OOO opening the file regularly. The second time the file is re-created and OOO crashes.
