If you right click into selected text, there will be two options in the context
menu: one is "Paragraph" and the other is "Edit Paragraph style". In my opinion,
difference should be clear between the targets of both options...
Yes, that's true. IT could be a good option to let the user decide whether he
wants to override hard formats or not. Currently OOo works like "industry
standard" - but for the future, an additional option could be a nice
enhancement. There are already some RFE issues which are dealing about this
(like issue 7760, but there are some more).
