2008 -------
The slide show view is now repainted correctly. This is achived in two ways:
1) The area where the slide show view is displayed is not painted over when
possible, i.e. the background is not erased or painted in any way.
2) When the slide show is painted over or when it has to be moved to another
place then a repaint is forced by faking a resize.
