I use a German OOo2.4rc2 on German WinXP.

Steps:
1. Start OOo.
2. Open an Impress-document via native file-picker.
3. Insert a dummy slide.
4. Insert a picture from file using the native file-picker from a different
folder than that of the Impress-Document.
5. Save the Impress-document.
6. Close the Impress-document.
7. Use Open-Icon to open document. Move to folder where the Impress-document is
to open it again.

Notice, that the list in the file-picker window is empty besides 'thumbs.db',
although "All files" is preselected. It remains empty even if you type *.* into
the 'file name' input field.
The list is only empty for this folder, other folders are shown correct.
