------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 11 21:52:25 +0000 2008 ------- Search-and-replace strategy. The strings ‘Search for’ and ‘Replace with’ should be composed not in the search window but in a ‘scratchpad’, a window where the user can apply all the required formatting –italics, subscript, font, .... (This scratchpad would be just like another document window. It could even be saved, for repeated search-and-replace operations in multiple documents.) The user would select and copy (eg, with^c and ^C) the ‘Search for’ and ‘Replace with’ strings from the scratchpad into two search-and-replace buffers. The options currently offered would remain; for example, the font of the ‘Search for’ string would be ignored, unless the attribute ‘font’ was active. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
