------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Mar 14 10:31:37 +0000 2008 ------- I confirm the problem with OOo 2.2.1 680m18 on a Windows XP host [1]. I also tried with OOo 2.3.0 680m5 (a portable version from http://framakey.org) with the same 100% CPU result... I tried on french language version of all mentionned products. If I open the bugdoc with Word 97, then save as a new doc, and try to open the new doc, it's still bugging. If I open the bugdoc with Word 97, then delete only the object on page 10, a "section jump (next page)" appears. If I then save as a new doc, I manage to open the new doc with OOo [1]. => problem around the object on page 10 and/or a section ? I did other tests... In the initial bugdoc, page 10 and 11 seem to be "1-page OLE objects". In Word 97, if I click on the first one, I get the message "Double clic to open (...) Microsoft Office Word" on the state bar. If I click on the second one, I get "Double clic to open (...) Microsoft Office Word 97-2003". => 2 kinds of embedded docs, could it be a problem ? If I open the bugdoc with Word 97, then delete *all* (maximum clean-up) but the objects on page 10 and 11, then save as a new doc, and try to open the new doc, I manage to open the new doc with OOo [1]. But it's still bugging if I delete only what's up to the first object and what's below the second one (quick clean-up). => the problem seems to be around these 2 OLE objects ? A section for the first object could create the problem ? Hope my tests may help... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
